State Farm is more than my career; it's a family tradition that spans generations. My father, Sunny Ching, began as a State Farm agent in Hawaii before becoming a manager, later returning to agency work after moving to California in 1979. My brother, Kevin Ching, and cousin, Dara Chan, also became agents, and their example inspired me to pursue this path. Since opening my agency on March 1, 1990, I've enjoyed building lasting relationships and helping people protect what matters most. Coming from a multi-generational line of State Farm agents has shaped how we serve our customers. We treat our customers like extended family, and I lead my team the same way, creating a close-knit, welcoming environment built on care, respect, and personal service.
With more than 36 years of State Farm experience, my passion for helping people remains as strong today as when I first opened my doors. I am a proud San Jose State University graduate and have called Cupertino home for more than 27 years. It has been a privilege to raise my three children here while serving the community I care about so deeply. Today, I enjoy spending time with my children, Cameron, Preston, and Lindsey, as well as my two grandsons. Outside the office, I love traveling, discovering new places and great food, watching my family participate in sports and activities, and cheering on local student-athletes. While my involvement has evolved over the years, I previously served in Rotary, on the boards of Little League and youth soccer organizations, and I continue supporting local high school sports programs.
